batangas, 300, bamboo, condo, et AL

i went to batangas with my friends last weekend for a snorkling trip - it was actually a surprise trip, since we were on tagaytay for a friend's wedding (which by the way - sobrang yaman). basically, gusto lang namin magspend ng time away from the city last weekend, nakakatuwa sya kasi wala talaga kaming plano, naligaw, kumain along the way, naligaw uli, kumain kung saan saan, naghanap ng murang resort - in the end it was fun. took some pictures along the way... pix to note:

- tirona hotel: the hotel we spent our first night because we waited for xter (di sya kasama sa kasal kaya sumunod lang sya sa tagaytay)
- mcdo taal: took some photos of mcdonalds in taal, wala lang hehe
- group picture with manang: took some pic with manang from the resort
- collete's buko pie - which won the blindfold food taste test (hanapin ko ung link)



tapos nagdownpayment na rin kami (read: si mama) sa condo na binili namin YES YES YES nung bata p aako, di ko akalain na magkakaroon ako ng place na sa akin talaga, maswerte talaga ako hehe thank you po Lord

madami na rin pala akong nagawa para sa aking kasal YES YES YES - konting tiis nalang at malapit na rin sya hehe

ok, time for my quick reviews:

300 the movie - wow, gorefest, looks more like a playstation game than a movie, production value at its finest, pero parang may kulang - pero worth it pa rin. If you want to read a "great" review , read at your own risk hehe -> spapartan review

Bamboo's 3rd album - boringgggg, the band jumped on the bandwagon and producedx an all-cover album >_< something that i didn't expect from them. I read a couple of things from the net that they just doesn't seem to have the "juice" anymore - nakalagay nga dun sa inlay card na "the end is near" or something like that - baka magdisband to ah

House Season One - a pirated review

Note, Disclaimer, Babala - please do not read this if you have not watched House's first season and you are planning to watch it sometime in your life - believe me, you will be frustrated.

ok we all know what house is all about - a limping doctor who is very arrogant, bossy, not really a people-person, who especializes on weird sickness. The first season establishes itself pretty well on the first few episodes, character building and the background stories anr unfolded one after the other - unfortunately if you are looking for too much story on the background - condolence. A lot of the first season episodes does not contain any interesting points that will help yopu understand the world of house - it alwasy goes like this:

- starting scene will always show you the victim doing something
- then he or she will collapse
- dr. house and his gang will come to the picture
- at the end of the day - house will solve the mystery sickness (in very weird ways)

naisip ko tuloy na nasayang yung ibang episode kasi wala talagang nangyari eh, parang may template lang na sinusundan, pinapalitan lang ung artista at ung sakit, pero ung flow ng episode ay pareho. I was supposed to give up on this DVD, kasi sa first 15 episodes ata, 3 or 4 lang yung mahalaga. ang masama pa neto ung ibang important points eh saglit lang sasabihin like yung *SPOILER* sinabing naging magkarelasyon pala ung boss nyang babae at si house *SPILER* sobrang saglit lang nabanggit.

other spoilers worth watching:

- episode where his wife was revealed
- the episode where it explains why he was limping and taking pain drugs like nips
- and the last episode was also good (but predictable)

ok, i was really not that amazed with the first season, probably because of high expectations - overall, 3 out of 5 stethoscopes :)

Dampa - a gluton's nirvana

ok, my team went to dampa last week for our quarterly team-building, sumama na rin sina richard kasi 2 lang sila sa team nila para mas masaya. sabi nung una, mall of asia daw dapat kakain, kaso dalawa lang ang may kotse (din at marian) so kailangang may mag-taxi - tae, ako kasi yung lead so i volunteered myself hehe buti na lang sumama si ferdie.

on our way to MOA, tumawag sila at sa dampa na raw, buti na lang pumayag ung taxi kasi maraming taxi (read: lahat ng taxi) ngayon ay sobrang mapili - anyways, dumaretso na kami sa dampa. kumain kami sa alban's at hindi sa aling tonyang (dito tayo kumakain baby) kasi nirecommend daw ng friend ni ms marian.

usual suspects - inihaw na tilapia + inihaw na porkchop + breaded calamares + buttered shrimp + buttered crabs + sisig + sinigang na ulo ng miso = suka tae HAHAHA. ang sama ng pakiramdam ko (>_<) at ang dami pang natira, buti na lang at dumaan kami sa chowking para mag halu-halo - yes, lalo akong natae (>_<)

maiba ako, lumipat na kami sa 29th floor, double edge sword ang nangyari, hmmm malamig ung floor kahit lagpas na ng 6 oclock, pero ang hirap umakyat unlike sa 14th floor, naghahagdan lang kami papuntang 12th.
